
Haim Permuter
Haim Permuter received his B.Sc. (summa cum laude) from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) and his Ph.D. from Stanford University, both in in Electrical Engineering, in 1997 and 2008, respectively. Between 1997 and 2004, he served as a scientific research officer in an R&D unit of the Israeli Defense Forces. In 2002 he worked at IBM Research – Almaden. He was the recipient of the following prestigious awards and fellowships: Fulbright Fellowship, Eshkol Fellowship, Wolf Prize, Stanford Graduate Fellowship, and Allon Fellowship. Haim joined BGU’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2008 and is now an associate professor.
